Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Coronavirus Update – Tuesday 17th March

We have made some changes to our patient booking system in response to Covid19 so please read the following carefully.

Regardless if you have travelled aboard in the last 14 days or been in contact with somebody with confirmed coronavirus please check the government website for the latest Covid19 advice, please refer to this before calling the surgery and visit the online coronavirus service at If you have no online access then you can telephone 111 but please be aware there is an increase in demand for this service.

If you have acute respiratory conditions of any severity including at least one of shortness of breath, cough or fever, our Patient Services Team will take your details and the GP will call you back. Please DO NOT come down to the surgery unless instructed to do so.

For non-urgent queries please contact us our via the eConsult system found on our website rather than visiting the surgery or telephoning. We aim to respond to non-urgent enquires as soon as possible. If you cannot do this, then telephone after 11:00 am.

As all appointments bookings are made by telephone please bear with us while we deal with this increasing demand. Thank you for your understanding and we apologise for the inconvenience caused by these changes.

For patients concerned that they may have coronavirus or may have come into contact with someone who has, the NHS 111 online service has created coronavirus pages that tell patients what they should do based on their particular circumstances. These can be accessed at:
